CMS explains MACRA 2018 final rule

Front Office TechOn November 2, 2017, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a final rule for Year 2 of the Quality Payment Program (QPP), otherwise known as the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA). MACRA, as you might recall, is currently in its first year, and the 2018 final rule is an attempt to make things easier for smaller, independent, and rural practices during the 2018 performance period.

Please join us as representatives from CMS discuss this final rule and its implications, including:

  • How more physicians will be exempt from MIPS in 2018
  • The introduction of virtual groups
  • Which performance categories will matter most
  • How to earn bonus points
  • How scoring will be weighed
  • The natural disaster consideration

This 1-hour webinar event is sponsored by Quest Diagnostics as part of our ongoing commitment to improving access to information and insights.
